Bass and Vocals
Greg "Stobie" Stofferahn started playing bass at the age of 16 after having been influenced by young local musicians such as Mike Flynn, Phil Lucafo, Tim Bednarek, Mark Schuit, Neil Holmquist, Alan Cardozo and Barcats, Frankie Rago and The Kent Brothers.
Early musical influences were Allman Brothers, B.B. King, The Temptations, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zepplin, Santana, Johnny Winters, Little Feat with newer influence from Creed, Pearl Jam, Johnny Lang, Los Lonely Boys and Dave Matthews Band.
Stofferahn has backed up various bands though the years such as the Dixie Dregs, Sea Level, Papa John Creech, Steve Dahl Radiation and other well-known musical acts in the Chicagoland area. Former bands include Club 44, Splitfoot and Nobody's Business.
Throughout the years, he has enjoyed jamming with various local musicians from bands such as ARRA, Stevie Starlite, Shortcuts, Wally World, Bob E. Lee, Crossfyre, Kent Brothers, Billy Branch, L.V. Banks, Melva LeBlanc, Byther Smith, Billy King, Big Daddy Thorton, Bad Idea Band, Heartsfield, and Eat A Peach.
